The major innovation of the model is the new VEN13 braking system with adaptive brake assist. The brake assist (similar to an ABS system) is adjustable from neutral (driver modulates brakes by feel) to anti-lock setting. Depending on track conditions and tire hardness, wheel lock-up can now be prevented by making appropriate adjustments. A great advantage when braking, especially when braking late and, of course, in wet conditions.

The bodywork has been completely redesigned and fitted with a new sticker kit. The side pods have also been made lighter.
